Paige Thornsbrough

Paige Thornsbrough has been an apprentice at Dreamers Ink Tattoo Shop since March 2024 and has now transitioned to a full-time tattoo artist. With a deep respect for the art form and years of experience as both an artist and tattoo collector, Paige brings a wealth of passion and creativity to her work. She spent her youth immersed in art classes and camps at the Danville Art League, excelled in high school art classes and shows at BHHS, and pursued her love for art through five semesters in DACC’s art program and as a studio art major at EIU.

Before her journey into tattooing, Paige served in the Army for 5 years, including one deployment. This experience has instilled in her a strong work ethic and attention to detail, which she now applies to her tattooing practice.

Paige's artistic style leans towards American traditional, neo-traditional, and black and gray work. She particularly enjoys drawing flowers and neo-traditional skulls. While she uses references for outlines, she prefers to come up with her shading and color choices on her own, giving each piece a unique touch.

Paige draws inspiration from many amazing artists. She has followed Luce Grey from Scotland for years and dreams of getting a piece done by her. Jett Jansky, her tattoo artist turned friend, is someone she looks up to immensely. Kylie Lesko, who did Paige’s first tattoo and is now her mentor, has shown her what it means to be a talented artist and a hardworking mom. Recently, Paige has been fond of @rabtattoo's work from Yorkshire, UK, and hopes to lean into that style more in her own work.

Outside the studio, Paige loves painting large-scale murals and spending time with her daughter, friends, and family at home. She stays inspired and connected to the tattoo community through social media.
