Tevin Thomas is a dedicated tattoo artist with 11 years of experience. Drawing has been his passion since childhood, and despite the challenges of breaking into the tattoo industry without an apprenticeship, he taught himself the craft, driven by his desire to make a career out of his love for art. This self-taught journey has fueled his commitment to constantly learning and growing as an artist.
Tevin's versatility shines through in his work, as he enjoys exploring a variety of styles including black and grey realism, color, anime, floral, lettering, and fine line work. He has a particular affinity for floral designs, anime, and realism, often incorporating pepper shading and vibrant color work into his tattoos. His inspiration stems from nature, anime, and the works of admired artists like Poch and Oliver Aye.
Tevin places a strong emphasis on connecting with his clients, taking the time to understand their inspirations and ideas to create personalized pieces that resonate with them. One of the most impactful moments in his career was tattooing an 80-year-old woman who, despite her battle with cancer, chose Tevin to fulfill her lifelong dream of getting a tattoo. Her encouragement and story left a profound mark on him, reinforcing his dedication to his craft.
Outside the studio, Tevin enjoys watching movies and anime. He is also actively involved in the tattoo community, with plans to participate in a tattoo convention this October and more in the coming year. His ongoing pursuit of knowledge and skill development is a testament to his passion for becoming the best artist he can be.
